What are your low, medium and high impact strategies for wellbeing?

For many of us finding the motivation to engage in self-care practices can be a challenge, feeding into our feelings of low self worth and keeping us in a shame cycle. You can start to regain a sense of control and build on moments of presence to resource yourself with strategies and activities which connect you with your mind, body and soul.

A list of low, medium and high effort strategies can provide you with a choice of resources for different emotional periods. By creating your own list you can start to identify things that work for you and that can provide a more immediate sense of comfort.

Some of the areas on which to focus include choosing how to nurture and soothe yourself, how to ground yourself and use anchors as well as collecting affirmations to build your self worth.

More information on these can be found on our website here: https://blueknot.org.au/survivors/survivor-self-care/
