This plan is focused on strengthening our foundations while extending our impact for people affected by complex trauma across Australia.

More than 1 in 4 adult Australians are impacted by complex trauma. As awareness of trauma grows, so too does the need for services, workforces and systems that can respond safely, effectively and sustainably.

Our strategy is built around five priorities:

  • People – Workforce Capability & Wellbeing
  • Practice – Survivor Support & Practice Excellence
  • Knowledge – Training, Knowledge & Sector Leadership
  • Foundations – Systems, Data & Governance
  • Sustainability – Sustainable Growth & Revenue Diversification

Across these priorities is a clear commitment: Strengthening our foundations for the future.

Over the next three years, we will invest in our people and survivor services, strengthen our systems and governance, translate evidence and lived experience into practice, build sector capability, and develop the financial and digital foundations needed for the future.
