Quality Service Lead (Helpline and Redress Support Service)

About The Role

This newly created position will lead the implementation and reporting of the National Digital Mental Health Safety and Quality Standards for the Blue Knot Helpline and Redress services. It ensures policies and procedures meet regulatory requirements and will establish and monitor the compliance and risk management processes.

Additionally you will;

  • Identify training, coaching and supervision needs of staff
  • Provide regular evaluation plans, analysis and reporting and monitor data integrity
  • Recommend system, process and service quality improvements to optimise outcomes for clients
  • Support the enhancement of the risk framework, model of care, incident management and open disclosure systems

Skills Required

You have a background leading teams in the delivery of clinical services, accreditation and compliance, developing clinical systems, frameworks and protocols to meet standards and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

You are flexible and can work in a fast paced environment with fluctuating demands, and meet the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or counselling and current membership or eligibility to a relevant professional body
  • Understand appropriate counselling/practice frameworks, and have skills and knowledge in supporting survivors of complex childhood trauma and/or violence via telephone and online modalities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with clinical teams and a familiarity with providing supervision to practitioners
  • The ability to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and effectively lead in a values driven environment

An understanding of quality assurance (QA) processes and service delivery
